NEW Drum Solo Video, 4.21.04, Check it out!
Hey everybody! I was feeling inspired tonight when I sat down on the drums and decided to record some of it on video.
This footage is shot alot closer so you can see my hands and drums better. It also sounds alot better then the previous clips. I am still working on the technical aspects of mic'ing my drums with the video that will come soon enough! I have been working on some new things lately and some of it comes out in the video. The following clip is longer then the usual ones I post, but I liked most of what came out on it. It is a large file but hopefully worth the short wait. Make sure you have the latest version of quicktime. It is around 7 minutes total and I hope everyone enjoys it! hey, i went to ur hyperlink in the last thread u started when u posted videos. i went to that one and then just typed in http://www.thelabmusic.com/evan/ without the "new" and then i clicked on the new folder. idk. my computer is just retarded so it might just be me.
 ill tell what i think about a little later. ive got school..eh..when i get home ill tell u. or perhaps at school!

ive watched a couple of the vids u posted here, and u really seem to know what your doin. Very fluid hands and feet, and a pretty good feel on top of that, i liek it alot
In one of your other threads, there was a directory, and a video of you at drumoff... I thought it was very funny when halfway through your solo, that homeboy just jumped up and started bobbing his head and stuff... but i dunno, maybe it's just my sense of humour |

I have watched your vidio~~it is preety cool, I love the style you played~~
I am a chinese drumer and I have played this instrument about 2years~~,but I think ,my skill just get your half~ , what I want to know is that how many years have you played? because it is just little good drumer in china ,so it is hard to get a teacher in such a big country~~,I hope some foreign drumer could teach me ,so I come here to get some help~~ anyone can help me ? my email is doubles_1@163.com thanks~~ |

Wow man I loved it. I'm 16 and have been playing for a little under 2 years with instruction. I really dug the cross sticking

Wow man, that was ****in cool. I really liked that groove at the beginning. Was that straight double bass throughout the rest? Also the movie didn't come out so well so I heard it but couldn't see, are you playing matched or traditional? But in any case I'm still pretty impressed.
