Seems like there are a few good drummers on this forum, I just wanted to invite you to post your vids if you haven't already.

Here´s something. Playing solo after 2 hour rock gig wasn´t a good idea i was was pretty tired. But I used arnold´s method: " When my muscles say no i say yes!" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9fjDwjoSQgA |

Nice solo! And nice charisma too!
Perhaps (if you're interested in feedback) it could have been more "organized"? I mean your musical phrasing, to me the amounts of bars seemed to be a bit random at times. And someone is a Virgil fan, one has to mention also ! Again, nice work though!

Yeah i know what you mean! Definately! I should think more phrases/musical ideas. Maybe four bar or eight bar phrases, There´s a good discussion about that subject in Keith Carlock´s new Dvd. Many times it feels that you need to repeat phrase several times before audience understands that you are repeating the same idea. If i would perform in front of musicians it would be even more important. Thanks for the advice, i appreciate it. Been hearing that from others too. |

You should make sure your fill fits the bar.
