My band's new material FINALLY up online

here's the myspace link. put meshuggah, nile, hate eternal and pantera in a blender and u pretty much get what we're about.

www.myspace.com/camillarhodes

this is the more catchy track of our 12 songs. theres a good amount of high speed blasting in the rest of the material , hope u guys will enjoy.

I think your playing sounds great, really tight and I appreciate all the tasteful and slightly different fills and little extras that sound so good in this style. Your playing sounds totally pro level in this genre.

I think you guys would be better with a 'real' vocalist, maybe like a Devon Townsend or that guy from Fear Factory who can do the throaty thing but in key with melody.

Also, I have 2 questions about your drum sound relating to the first track I heard 'The Onyx Sun'. In the videos I have seen of you, you seem to be a light to medium s/drum hitter, yet this recording sounds like you are thumping the crap out of it, is the snare sound triggered?

Also are you triggering the bass drum? And if so are you still using the one bass drum with a double pedal? What is your gear and setup then for triggering one bass drum with a double pedal?

I gotta give you credit for this stuff! Tight, fast and agressive. Not my cup of tea, but good playing!

The entire band sounds really tight too.

Good work.
