The new Planet X Quantum release dates are now official. Here are the final dates:

Germany, Austria, Switzerland: May 18th, 2007
Rest of Europe: May 21st, 2007
North America: May 22nd, 2007
Japan - TBA

This is looking to be Planet X's best album yet, with many highlights and special moments on the album.

Says Virgil: "There are many highlights for me, firstly the remake of Alien Hip Hop. I have rearranged various elements of this piece, including an orchestral arrangement which features in the intro, and in the build of the drum solo over the vamp. Secondly, Brett Garsed's guitar solo has so much heart and soul, with Derek taking it to a climatic end. Desert Girl is probably my favorite track, and features Allan Holdsworth on guitar, with possibly one of the greatest solos I've heard him play. Brett's guitars supply lot's of groove, and Jimmy Johnson's feel and interplay are a highlight. One more highlight for me is the unison solo between Allan and I in 'The Thinking Stone."
