AWESOME Vinnie Colaiuta Track
Here's a track from the same live show that gave us the Karizma album "Document".

The song didn't make the final cut of the album, but it's by no means a bad track. Listen to it and let me know what you think. I guarantee you you will be inspired, if not ASTOUNDED!!

my favorite "drumrecord" right now is document by karizma.... for those of you that doesn't have it, get it NOW!!!!! and the unreel cd with vinnie on it is also totally amazing

I really want to pick the Vinnie lixx 'n stuff to "learn" from his playing. Please notify what's THE stuff that I should get if you think of anything!

I have another nice Vinnie live track which I'm uploading now. It is a half-time shuffle, and some of the grooving is incredible, far less the fills and the chops. Colaiuta is THE MAN...except for Virg, of course

Nice tracks, Document has some great playing although the compositions are a bit cheesy.

CJ, you are most welcome!! The effect that Colaiuta's playing has on drummers worldwide never ceases to bring a smile to my face. I have a few more rare Colaiuta files that I can put on RS, including a video of a storming three-minute solo break. Keep checking this thread for updates!!!

The Fabrik show is such a classic, really tells alot more than "Document"

The stopping of "I'm Tweeked" when they get off the click is great!!
