Getting back in the swing of things...what now?
I played drums and percussion throughout junior high, and into high school and up until about 5-6 months ago constantly had drumsticks in my hands. I still play at my church and have a good understanding of basics as i played alot of Jazz. Anyway, i've been paying off my 7-piece Hp Custom drumset, with Axis double bass pedal and HHX evolutions (I will soon have everything), and in the mean time have been working alot and working out and going to school and stuff...basically just not making enough time for practice. i'm not too worried about speed because that will come with practice pad work, but as far as drumet technique, what are the first things i should resume with? Any/all input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks and Happy Holidays!

Check out the Vic Firth site and look into getting a teacher. Also don't let practice ever get boring. If you're not focused in your practice, you aren't improving (fact).
