I'm listening to all Planet X cds including a bootleg from the last Pl.X tour ..OUTSTANDING!! ..and also Freakhouse's "Beautiful misery" which has not been released yet but that cd includes some of my all time favourite Virg playing! He's pretty much just laying down 4/4 grooves and his playing is pretty simple throughout this album.I find it a nice change...so U guys check that album out!!

Thumbs up At this very moment...

It's cool to see everyone from PX messageboard over here!

At this very moment I am listening to "Zappa/Mothers Roxy-Elsewhere"... IT has what I believe is the strongest drum/percussionist section ever! On drums Ralph Humphrey & Chester Thompson & percussion the amazing Ruth Underwood, in my mind the greatest 'unknown' female percussionist ever!

This cd(once a dbl album)contains great performances of the incredible 1973/74 band!

Derek Sherinian - Planet X
Derek Sherinian - Black Utopia
Virgil Donati - On the Virg

BTW Christopher, I've heard Devin's The Fluke (the song) on the InsideOut 2001 Sampler that came with the Dream Theater fanzine. It's a very cool song, nice sounds, agressive feel. I've heard another song from that album too, called "Mountain" if I remember correctly. Wasn't really impressed.. how's the rest of the cd?
