Keith Carlock solo- Awesomeness!

Modulus on the Roddy forums (who if I'm not mistaken is DrumBlast over here?) posted this link up over there the other day. Keith Carlock is one of those players I've always heard about but never actually seen- and when I saw this I was impressed!

He looks like a madman with that traditional grip clobbering his toms, but he really plays with a lot of finesse too. I dug it- maybe you will too!

That's about the oddest approach to the drums I've ever seen.

I enjoyed that very much. I agree with Karnevil in regards to his approach. It was obivous from the video however, that he was having FUN!, and that is what it is about. Not to mention, the guy can flat out RIP!!

Very nice. Glad to finally see and hear him.

He reminded me a lot of Jaki Leibezeit of Can.

That is an odd approach... strange set up too... but he completely tears up the kit and shreds like crazy, what a guy. Thanks for that find, CJC!

Wow, that was some really cool playing! I highly enjoyed that solo. First time I've ever seen him play as well. I am quite impressed, even though he does seem a little kooky haha.
