brush choice........

I need some opinions on what brushes to use...I have some Pro-Marks but I'm not too happy with them. and also, would Renessaince heads work well with brushes, or would I be better off with coated?

I really recommend Clayton Camerons signature brushes!
They are easy to play with + that you can play with the same sound (well, almost) as with a stick if you turn it around.
You should try them out!
