Brett Garsed & T.J. Helmerich*Uncle Moe's Space Ranch
Checked this out at audiophile imports (Uncle Moe's Space Ranch) which apparently has Dennis Chambers and Virgil Donati playing together on some tracks.
I was wondering if anyone if anyone has heard this recording and what you think of it? It's touted as being one of the most unrestrained fusion recordings ever. I am going to order it. |

Awesome cd. Virgil only plays on an outro of a track. Not even a full one. Dennis is on the rest of them. Definite must own.

Yes! That album is great, when i first heard "Minx" i thought: "what the heck is that?" Because the atmosphere in that song is so different from everything i've heard before. It's very unique and deep.
One of my favorites that album. I would be interested in which parts are played by Virgil.

It actually says in the booklet which parts Virgil is playing. He is not just playing the outro! But it's kinda false advertisement sayin "on some tracks Dennis and Virgil..."
It is just that one track, "Sighborg", but it's totally worth buying the album! Virgils sound is awesome!

You can totally distinguish when Dennis fades out and Virg steps in, on "SighBorg." Very awesome album.
