My daily routine - please comment!
Hi all...
I've started on a new method of building up my speed, control, etc. Basically: 5 minutes hands single strokes 5 minutes feet single strokes 5 minutes hands double strokes 5 minutes feet double strokes Every day I increase the tempo on each by 1. I'm starting fairly slowly - 16ths at 139 with the hands (I was up to 149 but took it back 10bpm so I would relax more), I've just started doing the single strokes with the feet at 60bpm because of Peter's mention to do them heel-down. My doubles with my hands I can do easily at 160, but I've taken the tempo down to about 145 I think. So basically, every day I up the tempo of each by 1 and then do them. I try and do them twice a day, but I make sure I can do them at least once a day. So any suggestions? This is really important for me because I'm 6 years behind in my control and speed. Thanks! |
