Huh!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 HUH!!!!!!! Perhaps I’ve missed something…perusing the latest issue of DRUM magazine, it seemed to be missing a little something” Virgil Donati “. Virgil needs no cheerleaders and their certainly are many fine players out there. But to call your magazine DRUM and not mention the “MAN” is a bit off the wall. Perhaps they should rename the mag “ POPULAR DRUM “ or “ GUYS WITH LOTS OF TATOOS AND PISS CUTTER HAIR CUTS DRUM”. Alas they are a bit behind the times so I’ll give DRUM a little help. There’s this thing out in the world called the Internet. It’s kinda new; it was primarily developed for scientist and researchers to exchange information and ideas. Some innovative folks like Bill Gates, Jim Clark, Marc Andreessen and many more exploited the new technology and the information age exploded. With that came these really cool things called websites. They’re hard to find because you have to find someone who actually has a computer. Here’s the point!!! Virgil Donati “ with the help of a guy called a webmaster” is educating drummers located on every continent of this planet. “I know some drummer @ the South Pole is downloading as I write”. Through tireless effort and love of the instrument he is imparting knowledge to drummers that in the past could only be accomplished with face-to-face private lessons. The result is and is going to be better educated well rounded literate musicians. Perhaps next year a new category would be established for MOST EDUCATIONAL WEB SITE. After all I think this Internet thing might catch on. HELLO………………………….IS THIS THING ON !!!!!!!!!!!
