i just got my black panther walnut snare today... its 14 x 6.5 and its cracking baby!!!

Yeah, Mapex need as much promo as they can get, they earn it, the brand's reputation needs to be pushed!! I love their drums, and their support and commitment is the best I've ever heard!

If Mapex offered me a Saturn kit and an endorsement, I would sell my Gretsch immediately. Their drums are awesome, and completely underrated!

i still have my virgil snare that i cannot use anymore..

and my beautiful emils with purple cams and strap drive

im gona shelve them..and store them..i wont sell them..it has been a good service to me.

non the less..looking forward to working with mapex

Hmmm, they'd have to be offering me something really good to make me ditch my Elims... Unless I like their pedal better of course .

But they can't stop me using my Sleishman snare :O

its crack is un-heard of to me.... very nice tone.. im using a 14 x 6.5 walnut.. and its crack is crystal clear.

thanx fonzy... it sounded awesome..

the sizes were.. bass drum 24 inch, snare was a walnut black panther 14 x 6.5 toms were..10, 12 16 and 18 .. and my god..it sounded huge!!

im very very impressed!

brandon, check out the kung fu special edition steel snare drum! (or the "normal" steel snare for that matter) it sounds awesome too!!
