((to excel in double bass drumming u don't always have to be the fastest))......but this differs from one drummer to another
let's see....if i'm a drummer who prefers to play jazz or blues....then what is the use of this verrrry fast double bass patterns it's almost useless....and if u are a drummer of that kind u will feel what is the importance of doing a 300 bpm double bass.....
but if u r in metal and that stuff((like morbid angels((pete sandoval, emperor((trium)) and dimmu borgir((nicholas barker)).....then u will know what iron cobra man is talking about........when u use this fast double bass patterns u will feel that your drumming skills is great.....but in jazz and latin for example the goal here is groovin and independence.......
also jonberg said that no one will ask u to play for a gig or somethin.....this is really very strange...what is your goal in playing drums???gigs and pubs??

i don't think so.......!!!!!
u play it just because u love it and want to make respect for this instrument.....u practice hard, buy equipment ,take lessons ..........not always the aim is to play in hotels or gigs.....u play for it!!!!!
another thing ironcobra man....i think that 350bpm doublebass is very fast that there will be no difference between left strokes and right

any way your article was good ,,,and hey guys he didin't say that the faster is the better in the world...lol
he said the opposite of this....and this is cool!!!! that the faster doesn't laways recommend 2 be the best.............................................. .
