Sorry to come in sideways on this topic but my band mates have noticed a big difference in the way their ears feel at the end of a gig since I've started to use Gen-X Meinl crashes. We sit in the most dangerous spot, ear level ( most of the time ) W/cymbals like crashes and chinas! In ear systems are flat out the best way to hear "everything" at a very low volume by plugging the ear. Use SOMETHING! Or..... buy a longer band EQ!
