I'm from Forster on the mid-north coast. I witnessed Pete Drummond at last year's Zildjian Day. He was the opening drummer in a line up of performers which included Grant Collins and John Otto.
He started with a pop backing track, where he held the hats closed with one hand and played it on the underside with the stick in the same hand. The he busted into this solo which struck awe into the hearts of every drummer in the theatre. His 4-way fill is awsome!
After the HSC, I'd like a couple of one off lessons with him. Do you know if he does one offs, or is he too up to his armpits in drums?
