stick suggestion

Hey,

Can someone suggest a drumstick to me based upon experience, and these details.
I love the feel of the weckls signature sticks (evolution) but its glossy finish makes it hard to hold when I sweat. So far I'm using the 55A really awesome stick but I want something thicker. My all times favorite stick used to be the sd2 in hickory from promark but I decided I wanted something with more length.
So basically I'm looking for a stick thicker than the 55A not much longer than 16in and something that has thins off at the taper/neck like an sd2 (starts out at the but at .635 and becomes alot thinner at the neck) this quick/thin taper makes the sticks comfortable and makes even thick sticks feel pretty quick. I've tried 2b's but they are usually thick all the way up and dont have that kinda taper. I've steered away from vater as many of their stick have a weird feel almost like top heavy.
Any suggestions?
thanks

I'm not sure if they're what you're after, but I fell in love with the Pro-Mark 747 Rock sticks a couple of months back. They're slightly thicker than the Promark 5A, but they're longer and there's more weight up the front. I've found them easier to play fast and loud with than Promark 5Bs which I used for several years.

vic firth 3A or zildjian 3A are perfect for me... very consistent and solid

I use Vater Fusion sticks, the balance is fantastic - they almost play themselves. Plus the weight is great for all styles of music.

Yeah, I used to dig the Vic Firth 3A's. I'm not into big sticks anymore. But if you want something thick, go for the 3A's. Chad Sexton from 311 uses the 3A's.

I use the weckls as well for rehearsals and shows, but the red finish seems to affect really sweaty drummers (like me) as you mention. I use the promark's 747 in my practice. A couple of friends told me Vater's fusion are awesome so I might give them a try.

Just sand off the finish.
