This is a great endurance and speed development exercise. It can be quite intense when doing high reps. As I always stress, do not sacrifice quality and control for speed. By the same token, you need to push beyond your comfort zone, but always with awareness and understanding. This way you will learn to push your limitations with intelligence.

Start with 2 beats of each type of stroke, and then increase by one beat on every repeat. You can take this up to the count of 50.
