Triggers/Electronics?

Anyone know what type of triggers Virgil uses and or electronic gear. What does he use for bass drum trigger on Apocalypse?

Damn triggers.... I hate them more than anything else in the world....almost.......ok not really but they suck! Does anyone know how Virgil gets that awesome sound out of his kicks though?

Just a couple of weeks ago I recorded on them and hitting my floor tom too hard would set it off, hitting the snare would set it off and sometimes my bass drum beater just glances off during normal grooves so it the recording would have tons of extra hits on them. Also during bass drum rolls it would cut out a beat or two so the roll sounded inconsistant. But if you like them and own a more proper working trigger or know how to work with them more power to you but I can't stand them.
