The difficulty encountered in the execution of this fill, is to play with feel, the doubles between bass drums and toms. Given that they are inverted, counting will help you to understand where each beat falls correctly, and to develop this 'feel'.

I can't emphasize enough how important it is to learn to count. I always made it an important part of my practice. In the following exercise, I isolate the doubles between toms and bass drums, and include the count in 16th note units.
