I'm back home after visiting 11 cities on my recent clinic tour, and I want to thank everyone who came by to see me. It was the longest tour of clinics I've done in a while, and I'm pleased to say the crowds were near capacity and very enthusiastic. Along the way, I got to meet some of you messageboarders - special thanks to those who travelled many miles, and also helped with set-ups!! I know the guys from Pearl & Sabian appreciated the extra hands. I am grateful for the support, and I am uplifted by how large our little community has grown...

Hi Virgil, we have to thank you for coming to Europe. After seeing you once in 2002, two times this year, I hope I'll be able to see you three times next year. ;)
Sometimes, a year seems a veeeery loooong time...

Hi Virgil!

Thanks a lot for allowing us to stay with you before the shows ... I appreciated it much. It was more than worth to drive so far in order to see you. And (!) you have two more fans now:

1. my girlfriend Sandy, and
2. my friend David

Hope to see you soon on stage,

best regards

Hi Virgil,

thanks alot for this tour, the Berlin clinic was an awesome experience for me, and when thinking back it all still seems very unreal. I almost forgot that you're human and not god :D
Think i won't be forgetting that day so fast hope to see you again soon.

Something quite funny: you are one of the rare persons who impressed an overly critical cello player alot ;)

ciao

Hey Virgil!

I'm seeing you with CAB this weekend. I'm driving about 400 miles to LA to see it, but I'm sure it will be well worth it. It would be really great to meet you, but I don't know if that's likely.

I can't wait!

Just a quick hello Virgil. My name is Danny(beats in drum forums). I was the guy in the black toque and full sleeve tattoos that helped(along with 6 others) tech for u in Vancouver. Additionally i was your merch guy for the night.

Sorry i couldnt catch up with the rest of you the next day,as i got very sick and was unable to attend :(

It was an immense pleasure and privilage to help you out that Friday. I got to witness you practice and it was a blast talkin with you. My students get freaked out about my practice pad that u kindly signed.

I hope Darry fed u well after the show. We wanted to hang but 'fu$%nuts' (no not Darry!) uninvited us to join you,Dom,Darry, and Frank et al..for a bite afterwards.

You are a class act Virgil and a great great drumset player, its super that the lineage of the greats will be carried by your innovations and insatiable curiosity at the drumkit.

The clinic was tremendously educational, in fact more than i expected, and im so pleased that u are passing down your discoveries to the next generations.

Thank-you for one of the greatest drum lessons ever...............................your friend .....................beats(Danny)

P.s.-i posted my encounter with you on the HOD messageboard site!!!!
