Hey virgil.
Do you remember your clinic in 2004 at the rockshop in karlsruhe germany?
There was a drunken gitarplayer who was very strange and funny. he wants to pay you a beer. i remember that he tried to go backstage. i d like to know what happend backstage.thanks for your great show. i hope that you will return to an german clinictour soon.

Hey everybody out there!
I would be very gratefull if someone can give me a few tipps to become a better doublepadaldrummer. How do i have to manage my footcoordination if i practice doubles and paradidles ore fivestrokes etc. should i put my foot in the middle of the board? is it more confortable with heel up ore down? i would be very gratefull for any answer. greeze rügges
Sorry Rugges, but Virgil doesn't come around here...
As for your issue with doulbe pedal, just treat your feet as you treated your hands, and for the technique (heel up, heel down...) it's all up to you to experiment.
I'd advise you to do a research on the board on this topic, there is more that enough information around here.

Yeah new input is good but it is mainly important that you practice for yourself and find how to move your feet. Of course you can imitate some motions and learn from your hereos but it is your turn to find a technique to play all that you want to play with the freedom you need!
