There are no words for what I saw yesterday here in São Paulo!!

I also really like the idea of orchestral pieces w/ drums. You are an inspiration!!!!

O Virgil debulhou o Café Piu-Piu ontem!!

Virgil is so original. I really loved his performance (especially after a death-metal act, huh? :D ) His new song, which is a orchestral piece, is amazing. Reminds me of movie soundtrack stuff. I guess he´s been studying modern classical composers! His performance was a blast. He also played a new version of song "Dog Boots". There were some acoustic guitar parts on it. Ah, those feet flying :D I only wish my photography skills weren´t so bad. Here it goes:

The first one is the best shot I could get. I was at a really bad spot, and didn´t have those "tele" lenses. My next acquisition I think :D

The second one is from his drumkit, taken from the side.

The third and last one is from his drumkit from the camera man angle (he kindly took the picture for me). The quality of these pictures is really bad, but the place was packed so that´s it :(

Wow!
I loved Virgil's performance too. Great drum solo and all the songs were cool, I loved the new version of Dog Boots.

Thanks Virgil! :D

It was AWESOME !
What a performance ! ! !

Technique, precision, power, creativity , polyrhythms...

The new Dog Boots is very cool.

This was the second time I saw Virgil perform at Cafe Piu Piu.
He is so inspirational.
Bought one of those T-shirts too (with a "bonus" pair of Virgil's signature sticks).

Virgil > Thank you very much for coming to Brazil. We hope to see you soon.
And also thanks to Vera Figueiredo and Carla for making this event.

Cheers !
