Hello Everyone......I'm just writing to let you all know that On the 29th of september i went to see viril play his first drum clinic in Ireland with my boyfriend who is a drummer and it was amazing.I myself am not a drummer i'm a guitarist but Virgil is the most amazing drummer i have ever seen.It was my second time to see him play i went to see him four years ago in vicar street in dublin he played with steve Vai and Virgil stole the show big time.He stuck around afterwards and signed autographs for everyone whish was amazing as i'm sure he must of been tired from travelling over then playing but he still did it for his fans.My bofriend cant wait to get his new book he keeps talking about it none stop...he transcribed the music for pyramids on mars and virgil autographed it my boyfriend was soooooooooooooooo happy. It made his night....it made his year!He is going to frame it and put it in his garage where he practices. We are looking forward to seeing him play again sometime...i'm even a big fan myself now. Just want virgil to know drummers dont only think he is amazing he pushes the limits so much everyone notice's him.Keep up the amazing work virgil....From your fans in Ireland x

NO, people were swarming after i went up, the techs needed the cymbals for some prize-winners etc. and i didn't want to look like mickey mouse with my feeble drumming compared to Virgil!! :)

Isn't there a terrible lack of drum clinics in Ireland in general? It's once in a blue moon someone the calibre of Virgil Donati plays here, he only does one night ion one city. What can be done?

@Gaurgle: Did they not let anyone else sit at the kit? I went up to it after the show. Maybe they just knew my face as myself and Martin were in there since just after lunch, can't believe i spent 12 solid hours in the venue! I think i ate around four rolls!!! I forgot to say thanks in my review thread to all the guys at EBS, especially Ralf, what a great guy! :)
