Yesterday my girlfriend and I stopped by the Axis headquarters in Carson, California. While there Chuck of Axis showed us this custom pair of Axis Longboards. Pictures can not do these justice. First Gold was applied then the Candy Apple Red. The shine on them is just beyond ridiculous. If you ever watch those motorcycle shows on the Discovery Channel, you can compare that to these regarding the amount of labor involved. The beaters are Marksman but made out of Aluminum! The last image is Chuck, myself and Darrell.

Darrell was making them as "special order" for a while. i remember him taking them to NAMM a few years ago. hella expensive though. LOL. they do look incredible. I remember seeing some that were purple as well. very cool.
I guess a chrome edition would freak us out!!!

The aluminum beaters must be very heavy.

I'd just buy the pedals for the sake that they are prabably one of the sickest double pedals I've ever seen in my life.

I would love to see the purple ones.. How much doe did the reds sell for?
Saw this thread on these custom axis pedals and thought I'd share with you some recent projects I did on my CNC machine. One is a long board for my axis double pedal, the other are a set for a friends DW double pedal.

Those red Axis's are amazing.
I'm still saving up for the regular A's though!

They charged me the standard reconditioning fee which was about 30 something bucks per pedal.
