Excuse my ignorance of how busy Virgil is but I did read one reply post of him on this forum so far.

I hope it's not much to ask for but I'm sure all drummers here would want to hear some few words from the MAN himself.

So c'mon Virg jam with us a little here!

Tell us something...like how's life being a super drummer is so far?
Hehe, some few tips might come really handy as well.

I've heard that he gave up drumming so he could
become a country western singer...

I've heard that Virgil wants to take drumming to the next level... again!

He is creating a revolutionary technique that will be called ''The Relleom Technique''. He now practices hard completely upside-down. He plays foot pedals with his hands and holds sticks with his feet. He says the power of all four limbs on drums is now more natural this way. He says most drummers will use it by the next two decades.

i heard that virgil's gonna quit drumming, play the banjo in some bluegrass band...kick back and enjoy the country side...cos he cant top anybody else in drums and is bored in seeing other drummers do stuff that he has already done in 1990!:D

Nope you got it all wrong ;) he is now some washed up yoga instructor searching for inner peace, he quit drumming 2 years ago :D I heard he switched to DW, with axis pedals, as well as having vic firth signature sticks, and ziljian cymbals he now plays matched grip ;) i also he changed his name to Steve Vai, no, thats just silly, he actually changed it to "Milo Porto" and posts quite a lot on this board so what are we all worried about?! :D hehe, but in all seriousness VIRGIL, a simple hello would leave us very greatful! :D

drums would get burned and people would DIE because of strange assumptions from a couple of weird drumfreaks from around the world... crazy matherfuckers that make jouk with virgil, even though he's so beasey to reply..

This thread is getting a little out of hand. Guys, Virgil does check the board Im sure, but dont you think it's a little childish to BEG for a reply?

He always gets us by surprise when he plays, Im sure he's gonna get us by surprise on this very messageboard! :)

Virgil says A LOT by just allowing
the board to exist.

Let's remember that. It is very
difficult (arguably impossible) to
respond to every single query.

I am thinking that he hopes our
own exchanges will do much to
answer our own questions.

Perhaps he may surprise us
someday but until then, let's
make him proud of what we do
with his influence. :)
