The fundamental question one must tackle when playing drums is - "How do I hold the sticks?" In this video clip I demonstrate the basic ingredients of this important topic. The decisions we make in the early stages will have immense and enduring effects on every thing that follows in our drummming life. The points I make are simple and common sense, but sometimes the subtleties get lost in the gross action. Please take time to analyze and refine this important part of your playing.
