What a bizarre post!
And for the record, I'm a self-proclaimed drumming obsessed maniac! As far as loving it as much as you, well, you didn't accurately quantify the degree of passion you have for the instrument. Therefore, going by context alone, because I proclaim that I am "obsessed" and you state that you merely "love" the drums, I believe that my degree of fanatacism is likely 15 - 20 % more intense than yours.
Actually I hate drumming... :p

This means of quantification, albeit entertaining, is highly subjective and inadequate in terms of a comparable quantity. This being the case, I would propose that we revert to a much more popular way to compare, seeing as how widely discussed it appears to be on this message board. I digress...
How fast are your feet? :p

Well, if you TRULY love them more than I do, then prove it by sending me money. Then, and only then, will we know you are sincere.
Hi all,
So, if you love drums, proove it by sending me money too ! Oh and unlike my
alter ego Cjc, I accept drums and hardware... But only in good state.
Thanks in advance.

Yes, drummer344, I can reply in the affirmative, that I do, indeed, love drums as much as, and not an iota more than, you.
Hope that helps in some way!
John.

This postulate of execution is manefestly indicative of fallacious ratiocination and greivously deplorable deductive savoir-faire. In this scenario, one of thy fallacies is "Post hoc ergo propter hoc" ("After this, therefore because of this", see http://skepdic.com/posthoc.html and http://www.nizkor.org/features/fallacies/post-hoc.html for examples)
"Due to X, Y because of A"
These a priori propositions have no attribution in this supposition, invoking the reductio ad absurdium ideology, thus squelching this repugnant conjecture.
If you should attempt using the argumentum ad populum (appeal to consensus) fallacy, you Deo volente indubidably defy recalcitrant loquaciousness, as well as a metagenesis of your face.
Have a nice day! ;)

Ah, Cjc, a fellow follower of Skepdic.com! Fantastic. A very interesting site.
Evidently, also, a user of a thesaurus...

I didn't want to say this but now the post has come up I must finally come to sirs for help.
I'm disillusioned with drumming. I have an ASBO pending because apparently I make too much noise (for those outside the UK - an ASBO is an (A)nti(s)ocial (B)ehaviour (O)rder). I'm not getting any better-in fact I'm getitng worse. I leave for work at 6.30am and don't get back till 8pm os can't practice but I need the money to live, eat etc. Someone help me get back into it somehow.
Please.
From your drumming brother Helmet.

I don't really see what you're getting at, Helmet. What do you mean?

If noise late at night is a problem, have you tried practicing with headphones on an electronic kit?
Or is it that by the time you come home late at night, you don't have the motivation to practice?
Best,
John.
