LIVE PERFORMANCE AND DVD
On September 13, 2003 at the Berklee Perforformance Center in Boston, MA., Zildjian is presenting A Tribute To Steve Gadd, hosted by Bill Cosby. The show will feature Vinnie Colaiuta and Rick Marotta performing songs from throughout Steve's career, with the James Taylor band and Tom Scott. Also featured will be performances by Will Lee, and other special guests, and the event will culminate with a performance by Steve with Paul Simon, and also with James Taylor. Hudson Music will be videotaping the entire show for DVD release in early 2004. Please check back for more info and for QuickTime previews.

to know him. He's a consummate drummer.

I wish I lived in Boston...that would be something to see...Gadd is an amazing drummer...one of the all-time greats...should be amazing!!!

Wow! Looking forward to it!! Sigh me too, there aren't many great drumming activities here in Malaysia... Wish I was there with you guys, get to witness Virgil, Vinnie, and all the other greats !!

I heard through the grapevine (internets???) That Gadd was contemplating going to Sabian, and Zildjian (obviously) did not want to lose him as an endorser.

That is, at best, just a rumor.
