Hmm, listening to QF over and over again and especially to the fast doublebass sextuplets part with accents I hear some similarites to that with the classic Nintendo 8bit game "Ice Climber". In the game, there is two "climbers" who has to jump up to next level to survive...and on the top of each track there is a bird flying around which you have to grab to make it.
Anyway, before each track, there is a short display of the whole track, and while this is going on, the music to this is very similar to QF I think. No doublebass part though :D but it´s kind of the same notes to it.
Anyone who knows what I´m talking about??
