Hey again Chris,
Do you think it would be interesting to get these little side pictures on this board? i think you have one already actually! i've seen them on the HOD and portnoy forums and i think they can be quite fun. what do you think??

Jimi,

You should be able to upload your own avatar right now. Just check out your own profile in the "user area" button on the top right of this page and then go to "edit options" and then just upload your custom avatar.

I will be brushing up the graphics on the board in the near future anyway, but I just thought I should let you know.

Pass this info around incase I miss a post where someone needs help about this.

Every time I try to upload the avatar,
it tells me there's an error in uploading.
Is there a size limitation?

Yup, 5k max and it has to be 50pixels X 50pixels.

Whichever is similar.

Mine is 4K and 50x50 and it still won't go through.

That's odd. I'll have to double check a couple of things. However, you can still have an avatar by your name if you give an address to it.

mydomain.com/images/avatar.gif or something.

In the meantime, Ill try to fix this little thing. Sorry for the trouble.

Wow, I turn my back for ONE second and you guys play all these tricks on me!

it has to be of 50x50 pixels and must be 5k max

ok my avatar is 50x50 and 4k, whats the error? is it better in a gif or jpg? :mad:

ah well, the site i have wont allow a link directly to the jpg, only to htm or html files. i'll find somwhere to store this bloody pic!!

As you can see i got it up! (and it didnt take any viagra to do it either:D)
Anybody looking for a place to host their files should go to yahoo geocities. Im thinking of trying to set up an unofficial Virg page there too. just a small one though cos this place is really the best place to go for all your Virg needs anyway!!:)

i uploaded my avatar to the free webspace on yahoo geocities and linked it from there. as long as its 50x50 pixels and less than 5k all should work out grand for you. you have to sign up to geocities too dont forget!
