HELP!!! I need a program.

Is what i want is a program i can write out drum music, meaning it needs to have "x" as a note as one of the options. I also want to make midi files out of the written music. If it makes a difference, i'm not using it to make drum tracks, just to make short instructional jpgs and midis. What programs will do this?

It's a cool program but damn expensive...

Not when you tell them your a student, retail, over here, it is $1000 which is tons of money, but I just (well, I didnt have that much to spend, so my sister [who goes to uni] "wanted" a copy ;) ) Flash your student id no. and your there, I got it for $300 (Australian!)...!

ya, i phoned a music store. It's $650 canadian but if you qualify for a teachers discount it's $325. It's kinda nice there are no laws against downloading stuff on the net in Canada. tsk tsk.
