Hello everyone,
I was just wondering if any of you heard of or attended the drum festival in Woonsockett, Rhode Island this past Sunday (July 18th). Lots of drummers were there, including Derek Roddy, Dom Famularo, Bernard Purdy, Jonathan Mover, and many others. It was a great show, and I actually talked with most of the drummers after the show. Dom asked if I would like to help out next year in organizing the event, and I gladly accepted. Great performances by all, and they are actually hoping that it will be an annual event from now on; and I'm crossing my fingers, because it can only get bigger and better from here. It was actually a benefit for the late Russ Camire, who was part of Ocean State Percussion. I just wanted to ask you guys if you had heard about it, and spread the word, because its a good cause, and I'm already trying to help out Dom and get more people to come for next year. Your thoughts are welcome. Cheers.
