I'm from Cork, down the south of Ireland, Virg came to Dublin once with Vai two years ago but i couldn't go:( I was also supposed to go to his Phillipines Clinic too but i ended up cancelling cos of that stupid SARS scare.(which was fine in the end:mad::()
I'll be heading L.A. soon though if there are no european clinic dates announced before the end of the year.

Hey Jimi, you know when I was in Washington I did get to catch some decent gigs in the state, specifically in Seattle and Spokane. Gigs With Weckl and Chambers, Elvin Jones, Louie Bellson, etc. Got to see a little diversity. Then I had the oppurtunity to live in Ohio where my wife is from and I was truly shocked. They pull in frequently some big names, Virgil, Steve Smith, Marvin "Smitty" Smith, Bozzio.I had the chance to see some great clinics at Columbus Pro Percussion a fantastic drum store, very cool guys. They have a yearly drum festival "Drum Daze" and they bring the big gun's every year.

Then I have been to a few PASIC conventions and have seen a load of Awesome talent there. And was very fortunate to catch the X at the Potato a few times, had some family down there so I just had to fly down to visit you know what I mean!;) ;):D But now I am in Moose Lodge, listening to MountainMan Bob singing about driving his four wheel drive off the side of the road because he had one to many beers!!:( just joking but it is pretty bad up here a shock to my musical system, but I keep plugging along and am thankful for this board keeps me up to date along with a few others. Take care Jimi have a cold one for me.

Regards Kirk

@kirk: i'm having too many cold ones tonight actually!! Can't wait, but i wish it was @the BP with Virg and the lads. Instead i'll just have to drown my sorrows and try not to follow Mountain Man Bob's cruel fate!:D

Originally from the Penn/Jersey(Philly,South Jersey) area and you can be in any major east coast center in 2 to 3 hours
Touring has taken me all over the planet and I now find myself in Saskatoon, Sakatchewan, Canada.
During a tour I met a very special woman here and married her and that's that.
It's all good . I still tour and still get to see a few different things.
I am never going to get used to -50 celsius winters though.

From York, northern england. it's very windy, cold, wet, icy in the mornings etc you get the idea. i don't think it's top on Virgil's list of towns to do clinics in.

in two weeks time i'll be living out in australia, so i'm hoping for an improvement in weather. (and women).

I was there, chicabownow. Front row, dead center!... Actually, a tad to the left. first and only time I've seen Virgil live. I'm looking forward to the next opportunity.

I was really happy for the kid who won the kit too... It was his birthday and you could see that he was genuinely thankful and appreciative.

Hey all,

I'm from Dundee, Scotland. I doubt I'll ever see Virgil in the flesh, but I met Thomas Lang in September last year so I've been able to cope... I'd go to England, but I don't think that Virgil goes there very often. I need to move to the States or something. T
