Montreal Drum Fest - Live from the Montreal Drum Fest (1998)

Collection of live tracks from the 1996 and 1997 Montreal Drumfest including drummers from all over the world, a few of them performing with their own groups. 1996 features Dennis Chambers; Tim Alexander (and group); JoJo Mayer; Paul Brochu (and group); Anton Fig; Virgil Donati; Chuck Silverman; Tony Royster Jr.; Mario Roy & Bruno Roy; Sylvain Grenier (and group); Drums of Black Bottle. 1997 features Chad Wackerman; Will Calhoun; Chad Smith; Mike Mangini; Dom Famularo; Magella Cormier; Horacio Hernandez; Michel Seguin; Karl Perazzo, Raul Rekow & Horacio Hernandez.

To be totally honest, I don’t feel too comfortable with this performance. In particular, the drum solo is not a seemless and inspired performance, and I would rather put it behind me…the audience reaction was amazing, and I’m grateful for that.
